Description

SPARTA is a novel Cybersecurity Competence Network, supported by Europe’s H2020 program, with the objective to develop and implement top-tier research and innovation cooperative actions. Strongly guided by concrete challenges forming an ambitious Cybersecurity Research & Innovation Roadmap, SPARTA will setup unique collaboration means, leading the way in building transformative capabilities and forming a world-leading Joint Competence Centre Infrastructure. From basic human needs (health) to economic activities (energy, finance, and transport) to technologies (ICT and industry) to sovereignty (eGovernment, public administration), four research and innovation Programs will push the boundaries to deliver advanced solutions to cover emerging challenges.

The SPARTA consortium, led by CEA, assembles a balanced set of 44 actors at the intersection of scientific excellence, technological innovation, and societal sciences in cybersecurity. Together, along with SPARTA Associates, they aim at re-thinking the way cybersecurity research, innovation, and training are performed in Europe across domains and expertise, from foundations to applications, in academia and industry.

Description

This project aims to protect accessing to sensitive information and applications in industrial facilities through a protection integrated into the operating system of mobile computers (tablets and smartphones) android or iOS-based, through a secured and integrated filesystem with access control servers.

The main objective of this project is to build a protection tool integrated into the filesystem itself, so that all files can be protected by default. The solution will be a software tool based on patent EP2709333. The use case for this project will be the protection of the information collected by drones during inspection or control activities related to safety and security missions.

Description

SWEPT security solution will incorporate preventive and detecting security mechanisms and tools for automatically preventing and mitigating web site attacks, maximizing the security posture of websites with a minimum intervention of web site owners and administrators The project also proposes a certification model that will certificate the security level of a web application based on SWEPT security mechanisms.
Beyond this triplet (prevention, detection and certification) there will be an integration methodology based on:
1- Normalisation of different outcomes from different tools.
2- Extension of an XML format file oriented to vulnerabilities and threats concepts
3- Log based integration in a common DB
4- Definition of correlation techniques
5- Certification of SWEPT Integration platform
This will generate the SWEPT platform ready to offer preventive and reactive services toward web developers and hosters.

Description

CIPHER project accomplished an in-depth analysis of the reality of security and trust in privately held information systems at European level before developing a methodological framework which contains recommendations designed to prevent cyber-crime and to react in case a malicious cyber-attach has been attempted. Finally, a global European regulatory and technological roadmap has been be advised. This project addresses today’s transnational cybercrime challenges, heeding not only technological aspects, but also incorporating social and ethical concerns related to privately held information systems; policies and regulations at national level on the matter.

Safecity deals with smart Public safety and security in cities. The main objective is to enhance the role of Future Internet in ensuring people feel safe in their surroundings at time that their surroundings are protected. Safecity is the result of the elaboration of a vertical Use Case Scenario based on Public Safety in European cities. The main goal of this project is to collect specific requirements driven by relevant users on the Future of Internet versus to the generic ones that will be collected through other objectives.
